Hello There!
Greetings! I’m Leon Gauthier, an animator and character designer.
I’ve always been interested in the connection we all have through stories and media and I believe it only takes one show or movie to change our lives.
What I love most in this world is seeing how everyone’s personal experiences shape the characters and stories they create. My hope is to tell a bit of who I am in each piece and character I make and find a way to connect to as many people as I can.
Animating was a childhood dream that has grown along with me and over the years, and became a bigger reality as I sharpened my skills. I am a self-disciplined worker who constantly sets new goals for myself. I am comfortable working in multiple disciplines, but enjoy character animation and design the most. My primary programs include ToonBoom and After Effects for 2D work and Maya, Substance, and ZBrush for 3D. However, I constantly thrive to learn new workflows and programs. I thrive working in a team and find the creative process is an experience best shared with others.
